Environmental Assessment & Monitoring
SolidEarth Geotechnical provides a range of environmental assessment, monitoring, and remediation services. We provide environmental due-diligence service to businesses and investors during property sale transactions, environmental cleanup and property restoration, as well as annual compliance groundwater monitoring programs.
Our expertise and services include:
Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
This assessment is a non-intrusive, desktop review aimed at reviewing the environmental liability associated with a given site. Our environmental professionals complete this assessment through a methodological approach which includes review of available historical information, visual inspection, and interviews.
Phase II Environmental Site Assessment
This assessment involves field drilling and sampling to assess the presence and degree of environmental impact to the soil and groundwater. Analytical chemistry testing is used to determine the concentrations of a given contaminant in soil and groundwater samples. Our environmental professionals implement shallow groundwater flow regimes modeling and exposure pathway analysis to assess and design the best possible environmental management or remedial solution.
Phase III Remediation Program
Our area of expertise is focused on the remediation of a hydrocarbon contaminated site. We design and implement remedial programs for gas station cleanups, underground tank removals, and industrial facilities restoration.
Groundwater Sampling and Monitoring
Our expertise includes the design and installation of groundwater monitoring networks, as well as annual groundwater monitoring programs (sampling, analytical testing, analysis, and reporting). Our projects include contaminated private site, public works yards, landfill sites, and wastewater treatment facilities.
